Type of mutation: Bronze Spaldings exhibit the Bronze color pattern but contain at least 50% green blood, giving them some of the physical characteristics of greens.
Peacock Coloration: Bronze Spalding males are colored much the same as regular Bronze males, with slightly darker wings. But they are taller and sleeker than normal Bronze, with a tighter crest and a yellow facial patch.
Peahen Coloration: Hens are a darker brown throughout their body than regular Bronze hens, especially on their chests, which is dark brown rather than cream.
Do they breed true?: No. Although the Bronze color will breed true, offspring will vary in the extent they exhibit their Spalding characteristics.
