Peach

One of the newer variations discovered (though older than midnights and jades), Peach colored peafowl are still relatively hard to find and only a few major breeders raise them.
Type of mutation: Peach is a sex-linked, recessive color mutation.
Peacock Coloration: Males are a orangish brown color that is much lighter than the other brown peafowl (cameo and buford bronze). The wings and tail fade to a very light, almost off-white color.
Peahen Coloration: Hens look like lighter cameo hens, with a light, almost off-white body and a darker neck similar in color to the males'.
Peachick Coloration: Chicks are similar to cameo chicks in color, but have a slightly orange tint to their light brown.
Origin: Peach was discovered in the early 1990s.
Do they breed true?: Yes, Peach peafowl do breed true. Peach is also a sex-linked color, like Cameo and Purple.
